I always thought the ball was pretty stupid myself. I didn't see any reason to put the "measles" on it. After hearing praise
about it from a top player, I tried one. I had to admit that the ball seems easier to "work" and control. I'm thinking it has a different
surface polymer than does the red circle. It seems lighter to me than the Super Aramith CB.
Down here at Skeeter's in Gulfport, there is only one tray of balls that has the measles ball, so it's not used much. Doc |

I thought it was quit heavier and harder to control....maybe I got a dud......i can't draw with accuracy with it and long draw shots are imossible!!!

Supposedly, it is more perimeter weighted. Thus, the heavier feel, and the increased workability.

well on more examination I played with it for about two hours and got in sort of down....It makes you stay over the ball more so that you don't rattle the
pockets which also happens more with it. But I went back to the red cirlce and I was hitting them like earl....jk I think it would make an extremly effetive
practice ball.

So does that little blue pill, but who would complain about that? lol
Hey man, them ain't high heel sneakers,
And they sure don't look like cowboy boots.
And that ain't rock and roll you're playin'
And it sure ain't country or rhythm and blues.
You're singing a song about making love to your drummer,
Well, gay guitar pickers don't turn me on.
And we don't all get into Donna Summer,
Do you happen to know any old Hank Williams songs?
'Cause you see I'm a dinosaur,
I should have died out a long time before.
Have pity on a dinosaur.
Hand me my hat.
Excuse me ma'am, where's the door?

i love playin with it. i think it plays similar to the blue circle that comes with the centennial balls. to me the red circle is just to light. but that is why
they make chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry! to each his own.

I dont care what anyone says I believe its heavier and harder to control in my opinion. I hate it and I own 2 of them. Much rather play with the red circles.
Oh I do agree they play very similar to the blue circle centennial cue ball....

you know......I hated it at first but now I love it.......I find I can do everything with it I can with a red cirlce and I can hit it a little firmer........I
ended up liking it more than the red circle......and yes it does weigh between 2-4 grams heavier and its like ten thousands bigger as well.....I did a little
research........

Measeles Cue Ball - the reason for it. | #15 | ||

The reason for the Measeles Cue Ball existance is so the spectators can see the rotation on the ball, nothing more, nothing less.
