What type of wall mounted video camera would be best for recording billiards? I would like one installed in the pool room of my house and ran to my computer so
that I can record myself playing for instructional purposes and as a live stream for when I have action games. Any advice, links, etc., would be appreciated.
I'm thinking about the one similar to Southern Billiards.

Joseph, I would recommend a small digital camcorder. Professor uses a security type camera. They are OK but then you would have to run it through a DVD
recorder or old VCR recorder. I'll get Cyco to post how he set up one in our room.

Pel,
I do have a digital camcorder, but I don't think I can run live stream video with that. I want it to run straight to my computer so I can store videos. They also have software that you can go back and play in slow motion, etc. I was thinking something similar to professors, but want a better quality video, plus sound. I will probably go to a local video shop and ask their opinion. By the way, I did get your message. I'm not sure if I will be able to take off of work for the Fall Follies. I'm already taking off to go to the U.S. Amateurs in November and it will be to busy at work to take off anymore. It's still not out of the question, though. Thanks! Joseph |

Cyco said he does not know anything about setting up for live streaming. Professor and Plowboy can probably help.
